Standard Hotel

The Standard

The Corporate Modern-style building, designed by Claud Beelman in 1955, was constructed as the headquarters of the Superior Oil Company. HRG prepared a historic rehabilitation tax credit application to assist rehabilitation work and the adaptive reuse of the building as The Standard Hotel in the early 2000s, an early tax credit project for a post-World War II resource. As part of the process, the Superior Oil Company Building was listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
